Attractions

Arden Guest House is convenient for most of Edinburgh’s tourist attractions and you will want to see as much as possible during your stay. Edinburgh's many attractions are world renowned, such as Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Yacht Britannia, but even little-known gems like the magnificent Craigmillar Castle and Little France, an area settled by French courtiers during the reign of Mary Queen of Scots, are just a stone's throw away from Arden Guest House itself.

The Arden Guest House is conveniently located so as to cater for all tastes; visitors can enjoy the Dalkeith Country Parks , can go to watch a movie at the nearby UCI cinema complex at Fort Kinnaird or enjoy shopping at the Cameron Toll Shopping Centre. The Royal Observatory and the University of Edinburgh King's Buildings are also nearby. Other sightseeing possibilities include Dynamic Earth for both children and adults, Portobello and its waterfront, Liberton Golf Range and the Braidhills public Golf range for the visitor interested in golfing activities.

You can leave your car at our guest house and we are only a short walk from the Royal Infirmary on the A7. The Commonwealth Swimming Pool is very nearby, for visitors who wish to unwind and exercise. Arden Guest House is also close by 2 pubs for evening drinks and fun. The bus stop is directly outside our Guest House and major bus routes are on our doorstep. The short and direct route into the centre of town makes a taxi ride all the more worthwhile.
